If an emergency arises and a law student enrolled in the Institute must be located, the Director of the Summer Law Institute is the appropriate person to initially contact for assistance.
To reach the Director, call the Office of the Summer Law Institute in Guanajuato, Gto., Mexico. This office can be contacted by calling the main telephone number of the Facultad de Derecho of the University of Guanajuato. The office phone number is listed above under General Information.
If you are unable to contact someone directly in Guanajuato, you may also contact Claire Conrad at the UNM School of Law at (505) 277-0080 or Robyn Cote at the Latin American and Iberian Institute at (505)-277-6843 and explain the emergency. They will assist you in contacting the appropriate people in Guanajuato.
