If you are interested in attending the Guanajuato Summer Law Institute and are going to request financial aid in order to pay for the program, you must have a current FAFSA or FAFSA Renewal application and a completed financial aid file at your financial aid office to ensure that your funds will be available to you prior to the beginning of the program.
You must apply for financial aid from your own law school for this program. If your law school requires a Consortium Agreement in order for you to receive financial aid, please make an appointment with your Financial Aid Counselor and have the counselor fax the agreement to the attention of Kelli Grady at (505) 277-1597.
If you have not received your financial aid award and have not paid all tuition and fees to the Institute prior to your arrival in Mexico, you will not be admitted into the program.
Some schools offer scholarships to offset the cost of the summer program. All monies collected by the Institute are used to pay for the cost of the program. If your school is a member of the consortium, scholarships may be available so check with your school.
